Sparkling window cleaner
3 tablespoons of lemon juice, fresh or bottled
2 cups of club soda (you can also use water or a mixture of water and club soda, but I prefer 100% club soda)
1 teaspoon of cornstarch
Put everything in a spray bottle and shake well before use, Dry with paper towels or my favorite microfiber towel.
Window cleaner hose
1/2 bottle of stain-free drying solution for the dishwasher such as Jet Dry.
4 tablespoons of 70% alcohol
1/4 cup of ammonia
2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap
2 liters of hot water
Put the ingredients in a bucket. Use a sponge, a brush, a brush on a long pole, or a sponge wiper to treat the window. Rinse off with a hose that starts at the top of the window and runs down. Let it dry naturally. That was & # 39; s … you're done.
NOTE: This isn't a perfectly wiped window, but it does a good job of cleaning, especially if you're in a time crisis.
Outside window cleaner
Black tea is ideal for cleaning windows.
Prepare a strong pot of black tea and use about 10 tea bags to prepare a gallon of cleaning solution. Let cool for an hour. Dip a sponge in it or put it in a spray bottle. Apply and polish dry.
The main component of this magic is the tannic acid contained in tea. You can also use black tea to clean the mirrors.
Tough job window cleaner
There is NO water in this solution. It is a spotter for hard to clean areas such as insect or screen spots, bird droppings, etc.
Combine in a small bucket:
1 pint of alcohol, I prefer 70%
2 tablespoons of liquid soap
2 tablespoons of ammonia
Apply to the difficult areas with a scrubbing sponge, rinse and either dry or continue with the rest of the window cleaning.
Emergency window cleaner
No time for anything?
Fill a spray bottle half with alcohol and half with water. Spray and wipe.
Streifenentferner
Simply take a black or white eraser and remove the stripes.
Keep Windows clean longer
Use Rain-X ™. You used it for car windshields and now for your exterior windows. It is particularly good if sprinklers etc. hit the windows. Apply only to glass as directed by the container. Water and rain pearl and keep the windows clean longer. Shop in auto parts stores, home centers, and large stores.
