With this short guide you can race through the house in a few minutes before the guests arrive. The house will smell nice too, not like cleaning chemicals, but nice and fresh.
THE CLUTTER BASKET
Have a laundry basket ready. Zoom through the house with the basket from room to room. Remove everything that does not belong in this room and put it in the basket. Drive through the whole house and only later put the basket out of sight in a cupboard. Confusion gone, house is cleaned up! A tidy house always looks clean.
Bath 5 minutes clean
Where do people have the most time to look privately into your house? It is the bathroom. Clean it. It's quick and easy.
First, have some microfiber cloths ready. They are antimicrobial and antibacterial. Together with this simple bathroom cleaner, your bathroom will shine in new splendor.
QUICK FIX BATHROOM CLEANER
Use a funnel in a spray bottle to fill these ingredients straight into the bottle. No extra dishes.
- ½ cup of white vinegar
- ½ cup of vodka
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- 10 drops of lemon essential oil
- 1 – ½ cup of water.
Shake the bottle before spraying. Spray all and all hard surfaces. Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to complete the cleaning, then wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth. The bathroom will also shine and smell clean.
MINT GLASS AND MIRROR CLEANER
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of alcohol
- 5 – 10 drops of peppermint essential oil
Place in a spray bottle, shake and spray. Wipe with a microfiber cloth.
If you only make one cleaner, make it and use it on all hard surfaces.
VACUUM
Take the vacuum and vacuum the floors that people will be on.
Use a vacuum cleaner or microfiber mop to walk over hard floors to pick up dust, lint, and pet hair.
Relax. Once people have gathered, nobody looks at your floors. If you have a good time, others will too. I guarantee your guests are so happy to be with someone that they don't notice anything other than what a saint you are!
Happy Holidays from my palace to you!
