NEW YEAR – LESS litter

NEW YEAR – LESS CLUTTER – As seen on 3TV / Phoenix – Good Morning Arizona – Monday January 6th 2020 – 8:45 a.m.

Many New Year's resolutions have to be organized every year. Often this involves expensive systems or the emptying of an entire room or days of work. Today I want to show you a few ways you can better organize your kitchen. They cost nothing and are also quick and easy.

Remove menus

Most of these menus are stored in a drawer or cupboard. Group them either in a dedicated container, a file organizer, or a folder. The next time the family wants to take away, everything is together and it takes up little space.

cups

We have all received this cute mug as a gift. We can't stand getting rid of it, so we put it in the closet. This cupboard will soon be filled with unused sweet cups. Time to sort and store the ones you use and donate those you don't use. The advantage is more storage space in the closet.

Everything that came for dinner

I know a lot of people who have a drawer that deals with ketchup, mustard and other spices that came with the takeaway. How often do you go in this drawer to find something? Probably rare. If it came with the take out, take it out and throw it out after you've eaten.

KNIFE

Many of us bought knives in a knife block that contains some knives that we don't even use. Donate this.

COOK BOOKS

I found out that I am a cookbook nurse this year. My only closet was totally full of it. I don't use or I don't like many and some are duplicates. Clean them up and donate them. Maybe the Chocolate Dessert Cookbook doesn't go well with your sugar-free diet.

THERMOS and TRAVEL MUGS

You only need one thermos per family member and possibly 2 travel mugs. Pick your favorites and donate the rest to a good home.

PLASTIC CONTAINERS

I don't even want to go here. If you open the cabinet and are hit by flying containers and lids, if you cannot find the lid that matches the container, if you use an entire cabinet for storage; Choose 5 of each size and let go of the rest.

PLASTIC FOOD BAGS

Most of us have a lot of shopping bags in stock for many purposes, but we don't need 100 of them. It's like we're afraid we won't get any further and go to the store every week! Fill your bag container and those who don't fit have to go.

REUSABLE SHOPPING BAGS

You probably don't need 20 pieces in the house, in the trunk, or in the back seat of the car. Make it on the 10th

REFRIGERATOR CLUTTER

It is time to remove some of the magnets, clips, lists, receipts and business cards and put them in a fixed place.
